Depart from hotel to northern part of Lombok. The
first stop will be at countryside market at the
village of Lendang Bajur where the local farmers
grow coconut, tapioca and rice. Continue driving to
Sidemen village where the local people produce palm
sugar from the palms growing on both sides of the
road. Stop at the overlook at Pusuk to see the
valleys in the north. Descending the mountain, drive
around the north coast to Pemenang and cross by
outrigger boat, a local boat, to the coral island
Gili Air for swimming and snorkeling along the white
sandy beach.
